Our last project: Aldi – Carrigaline – Cork

Menard Ireland executed stone columns on an Aldi project in Carrigaline, Cork.

The project involved the design and execution of stone columns to control the settlement and improve the bearing capacity of the existing ground. The ground conditions consisted of soft clays for 2-3m overlaying stiff gravelly clay.
It was great working with another Cork based company MMD Construction (Cork) Ltd and we hope that this was the first of many successful projects together.
